We need to give it several interconnected Web pages that everyone in cyberspace can view with a Web browser. Your Web site is where your customers go to find out about you and what you have to offer. Your site should be irresistibly attractive and compel customers to return again and again. Ok, maybe that is a little too rich. However, your site needs to have a professional appearance, be secure, and be updated on a regular basis.

You will need a domain name for your business. It should be descriptive of your business, and easy for customers to remember. For example, "makemoneywitholdmanjoe" tells your customer that OldManJoe wants to make money with you. You will probably use .com at the end of your domain name but you should also consider .net or .edu or one of the other endings, depending on the nature of your business.

Ok, you are ready to go. You have a plan that includes a good idea, a good product or service, you are ready to work, and you believe in yourself. You have a great domain name and a professional looking Web site. The only thing you need now is customers. For me this is the exciting part of the business. Attracting customers should include all of the following; word-of-mouth advertising, social networking, e-mail campaigns, article writing, paid advertising, and other advertising strategies. As location, location, location is key to the flow of traffic for a Main Street business, marketing, marketing, marketing is key to the flow of traffic for an online business.

(5)    “Be constant, consistent and clever” – your brand is you!  Make sure that you stand by your product or service so that when customers think about your product they will thing about your brand first.  A great example is the brand “Huggies”.  What comes to mind?

Some people spend months trying to find the right product to promote to sell off their product. Therefore, you need to attain certain ‘discipline'; in other words, you need to practice certain ‘methods' and research on certain things, on a regular basis, in order to be a successful online internet marketer!

 

Sounds pretty simple right?

That's because it is!

 

So, here are the steps to successful online internet marketing:

 

1.)    Finding the Right Niche: This is the 1st and most vital step! People tend to set up a site and then head out for the niche! Well, that's the way it should be. You need to keep in mind that 1st come the niche and then, the website that you're going to build, around that niche!

This is really important!

The best place to find niches, is around you. Yes, look around you, find something to make a site on.

For example, I could make a site on " Modifying Ferarri cars!"

So, you need a good niche; a good and ‘unpatched' niche to start off with.

 

2.)    Finding the right product to promote: Here's the 2nd most vital part. After you've found your niche, you now need a product that goes with it. The best place to find products would be Clickbank. I personally suggest you look for products with ‘recurring commission' i.e companies that're going to pay you month after month for the number of sales you get.

For example, I get a company  1 sale  costing $97. So, I might get a commission of 50%. Comes around $49. Therefore, for all the months after that sale, I'm going to get around $20 extra!

                So, it's a monthly recurrence!

 

3.)    Finding the right people to target: Here's the 3rd most vital part. You need targeted traffic to get targeted sales. Otherwise, you'd be getting a lot of traffic, but a low rate of sales comparatively. This is important.

So, if my niche was garden designing, I'd target people who would want to:

"buy gardening equipment"

"buy garden pots"

                Or something similar.
