Yesterday, my MIS professor was teaching us about the transformation of commerce over the years, from traditional commerce, to e-commerce, mobile commerce, and beyond.
He said that the next generation is U-commerce, or ubiquitous commerce. He says it's not very prominent or even hardly known yet, except for a little bit in New York.
I didn't really understand, but he was saying something about U-commerce involving stuff like jackets with wiring in them that you could do commerce through while you excercise and whatnot?
Does anyone know about this or have any links? How does it work? And how soon will it get big in America?
It is hard to say when it will get bigger because this depends on people who should use this technology and support it.

Hi, you should look for a mobile wholesaler. I believe phone brands such as vodaphone, orange, 3 etc sale their products wholesale to retailers so you should get in touch with them and see what you can negotiate.
Also, you should check out this - www.esellution.co.uk I use them for my online store - Basically you can list your products, brands, categories, inventory (How many of each item you have), prices for each product, it keeps track of all orders and lets you manage them easily, you get a statstics page so you can see how many times an item has been viewed, how many sales each item has made, etc.

The reason i love this software as well is you dont need to know any sort of coding crap to use it, its all fully automated and simple. The orders page tracks all orders too so it acts as a bookeeping system that is printable.
You can setup your payment method with this too (list Paypal email) or if you prefer people to pay via credit/debit card, and the money goes straight into your account when they make a purchase. I would recommend the Paypal payment method with this software as Paypal keep their own records too just incase of disagreements between you and your customer you will have back up :D
