Can anyone analyze the changes and continuities in commerce in the Indian Ocean region from 650 C.E. to 1750?

Thanks. This is an AP world history essay.

Someone could. It could be a master's thesis, too.

Basically people buy stuff at a low price in a place where they have a lot of it, then transport the stuff to somewhere they don't have much of it and sell it for a profit. They have been doing it for years.

Exactly what is in demand, what is legal to buy and sell, and how they transport it has changed a bit.

Sometimes they took other things with them, like new religions, or new diseases, or new systems of math, or different alphabets.

Just flesh that out and add sources - 5,000 words should be enough - and you are finished.

Good luck!
