The best easy way to start getting traffic to your website would be to answer question at yahoo questions, and make sure your website is included at the bottom of each answer, like a signature. Make sure your website is actually related to the question that is being asked. Also do the same with the Google questions, you will get lots of unique visitors to your website. If you want to take it a step forward you can create a social profile on a website such as myspace. When you do that find the category that fits your business in the messaging forums and post about your business. This will bring targeted visitors. You can also post bulletins and friends and post on there page. That part takes longer and many people do not read the bulletins anymore. More free traffic? Do some really good search engine optimization, pick up so books and read on it, remember search engines love fresh content so try to build up a article directory on your website with fresh information. Remember people do not come to to your website to purchase, they come for the information, then if they like what they hear, and if they feel educated they will purchase from you. There are tons of free ways to build traffic, do research on the net and try to stay away from purchasing hits for your website, because most of the visitors are not going to buy anything, they were probably paid to visits your site.
