Explain E-commerce

explain e-commerce
Can someone explain Streamlined Sales Tax (WA state) to me?

I understand it means that basically businesses that ship products and sell via e-Commerce, must charge tax based on the buyer's location. Well excuse me Mrs. Retarded Liberal Governor, how the heck are small businesses supposed to implement that kind of stuff? Why do they always have to complicate stuff?

That is becoming more and more common nationwide.

The best thing for you to do is collect WA sales tax on your sales and turn it in to WA. I wouldnt worry about doing the other people's state sales tax, especially if you are an Ebay seller. If you pay WA sales tax on everything, you at minimum wont be on the hook for paying anything else.

With things i ship out of state, I stamp a clear DISCLAIMER on my invoices that my product was shipped with NO SALES TAX ADEED, and that the customer may be liable for local sales and use taxes.

My accountant has informed me that this is sufficient. If you do not have Nexus to the state you are shipping, you are not required to be their sales tax agent. If you travel to that state on business or have an office location in that state, you ARE liable for that state's sales tax.
