While it’s true there are marketing blogs that really aren’t good for anyone, at least you’re not going to be out any money by checking them out, like you would be by buying a scam affiliate marketing product. At the worst, you will just not make it as well as you could if you found a quality blog. So the big question is, what do you look for in a quality blog?
First, you have to check out the marketer’s credentials. If he or she is well known and has a good reputation, then there’s a good chance that there will be useful information in the blog. Finding out everything you need to know is just a Google search away. Just be aware that just because you might see scam or fraud next to their name in the search, it may not mean that they’re actually scammers. Follow the link and read what’s written.
When looking at the blog itself, you should take note of how concrete and practical their advice is. If they can explain a highly technical thing in layman’s terms, they really know what they’re talking about. If it sounds far fetched or seems fishy in general, it probably is. Use your inner lie detector.
When it comes to finding the right affiliate marketing blog, reputation is everything. If they have a good and ethical reputation, then you’ve hit paydirt. If they’re known to be scammers or con artists, then you probably don’t want to take their advice, it’s that simple.
