What are skills to look for when finding someone to design our e-commerce website?
As above, plus a simple question:
What do you use to edit your code?
If they say "Dreamweaver" (or anything similar), it is a no-go: he is an amateur who does not know how to code.
If they say "Joomla" or similar, it is a no-go: masses of code for nothing: he is another amateur who has never tested his site completely, and prone to bugs. (because he has never gone through these CMS entierely)
If they say "A plain text editor" or "Just Notepad", you MAY have found a professional coder that can bring your project to completion!
