How would I go about creating an e-commerce website?
I'm currently a student studying a IT course I am good at making html and php personal sites however I have been asked to create an e-commerce site, I can create the standard look of the site however how would I go about creating buyable items payable by multiple payments methods (not only paypal) with basket feature including user accounts?
sorry just a bit confused by cookies etc!
already have domain name, hosting and basic html template just not shopping options.
If you have paid hosting, take a look inside your Control Panel and look for the legacy applications. The eCommerce and PayPal install apps should be in the CP somewhere. Otherwise...
