The Title tags and Meta tags should have the proper keywords and density within each page.
Don't use the same Title tags and Meta tags for each page. These tags should relevant and unique to each page.

Always submit your site to the relevant categories of high ranked directories.
Submit your site map to the major search engines for you site to be crawled.
If you write articles, submit them to various article directories. Don't forget to place a link within your profile back to your site.
If you have time create your own blog that addresses your expertise that is relevant and brings traffic to your site.
Post your website link in relevant blogs that you frequent often. But this only works for blogs that off "do-follow" instruction to search bog/spiders. No-follow blogs are not ranked high by various search engines.
Become a member of forums that deal with your expertise. Create a fan base there so they will be enticed to visit your website do to your expertise.
Use the social web to your advantage, such as Twitter and Facebook to build credibility with your clients.
Submit press releases to the various online sites. They can either be paid or free, but they can offer those needed back links to your site to help your page ranking in search engines.
Look into link exchanges with highly ranked and relevant websites.
