How do I upload all my pc files to a web server so the rest of the world can browse them like a website...?
I have 1000's of useful word/pdf documents, image files videos & audios about all sorts of topics from internet marketing, graphic design, & landscaping & gardening design (& bits & bobs: funny/interesting etc).
I am thinking that if I could batch convert these files to HTML & upload these file to a server & stick adsense on them then I would instantly have a website with 1000's of webpages - all I would need then is a side menu for navigation purposes.
Is this possible? How can it be done?
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

You don't convert anything, you post the files - as they are - on your site. People with the programs needed to read them just click the link and the documents open in their computers.
You might want to do it as a blog. http://www.wordpress.com/ to start. Once you see how to do what, download the blog software from http://www.wordpress.org/ and put it on your own site.
